ABOUT ME

Maya is a published illustrator interested in the interactions between art and science. Maya interned as a science illustrator with the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation in 2025. She illustrated a published children’s book, When Will Santa Be Here? The Magic of the Reindeer Bells (2025), as well as created works for Visit Lake Norman, the EEGS Dept. at UNC Charlotte, and The Niner Times, for which she’s won awards.
